Lock-down rides by Club Members

We have had constraints on our normal activity, the club group runs, but that hasn't stopped individuals and family groups from going out on their bikes. This page shows a number of the routes adopted from just May and June 2020, so there are plenty of non-stop rides, in all directions from Trafford, of various distances up to ~75miles, generally straight from home.

So these little maps should give you an idea of the routes and places we enjoy riding, in easy riding distance from Stretford. Maybe you would like to join us (once we are able to resume group riding).

However we all eagerly await the retreat of the coronavirus, the re-opening of cafes and pubs - for the chance of a mid-ride break, a breather or a spot of lunch - and our return to some of the more distant places on our favourite Club Rides List. Some of us miss the 100-in-8 ride, the trips out into The Peak and the hills around the Cheshire Plain, nice cafes as in Beeston, Bunbury, Meerbrook and Longnor. Our even a gentle potter along the Transpennine Trail west to Widnes and beyond...
